Electric Mountain
Set against a magnificent backdrop of the towering mountains including Snowdon and the magnificent scenery of Snowdonia, Electric Mountain is First Hydro Company's Visitor centre in Llanberis. Its split level layout contains a gift shop and café and is the starting point for the tour of Dinorwig Power Station.
Take the bus tour and descend deep inside ancient Elidir mountain's labyrinth of dark and imposing tunnels, where visitors will experience one of man's greatest engineering achievements.
This attraction can be easily visited whilst staying in the Conwy Valley, and is 14 miles (22 km) from Betws-y-Coed as the crow flies (straight line distance). See the routeplanner below for a suggested route and estimated journey time.
